Danny Is was yet again another first for us. Our customer approached us with the idea of taking an existing table and adding a river to it. Letcombe brook runs under their house and we wanted to create a look that it was running through the table and out to the river.
We took the oak table and routed banks into either side. We then cut it in half and added 30cms of width. We used a red green tinted resin and filled to the first bank and then finished it with clear. We then sanded the whole table down and gave it a new coat of stain.
