Danny Our second table was for outdoor use. For this we sourced one large, thin slab of walnut and cut it to create a table with a double river.
To match the customer’s garden we used a silver birch resin and finished with a clear top. The wood had excellent edges so as the resin was curing we added waves onto the edge before adding the clear. This was finished with box legs allowing 6 people to comfortably sit around it.
Due to it being outside the wood needed to be sealed and protected. To do this we finished the project with a surface coat of resin. This brings out a lovely shine to the wood as well as making it water tight.
